Dodgers Must Reveal Details Of Frank McCourt Deal

Law360, Los Angeles (June 5, 2013, 4:01 PM EDT) -- A California judge Wednesday ordered the owners of the Los Angeles Dodgers to unseal part of a document detailing financial benefits received by ex-team owner Frank McCourt from the team's 2012 sale, ruling the public's interest in the baseball team outweighed the Dodgers' privacy concerns.

At a hearing, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Scott M. Gordon also ruled that Guggenheim Baseball Management's interest in keeping the portions of the document sealed couldn't overcome the presumption of the courts to be open.
