UK Antitrust Watchdog Blocks Eurotunnel's Ferry Plan

Law360, New York (June 6, 2013, 2:11 PM ET) -- U.K. competition regulators said Thursday they will block Groupe Eurotunnel SA from running ferry service across the English Channel, finding the French rail operator's €65 million ($85.8 million) purchase of three ferries from the now-defunct SeaFrance SA might result in higher prices.
