High Court Ruling Pushes Cos. To Tighten Arbitration Deals

Law360, New York (June 10, 2013, 10:26 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court's decision Monday to uphold an arbitrator's ruling that broad contractual language authorized class arbitration shows that companies looking to use contracts to ensure all claims are resolved through individual arbitration — rather than class actions — should make sure the language of those agreements is explicit, attorneys say.
