ITC Affirms That BDT Didn't Infringe Overland Data Patents

Law360, New York (June 14, 2013, 12:14 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Thursday affirmed a ruling from one of its judges that German tape library manufacturer BDT AG didn't infringe two data storage patents held by Overland Storage Inc.

The commissioners signed off on Administrative Law Judge Charles E. Bullock's March ruling that said one of Overland's patents — U.S. Patent Number 6,328,766 — was invalid, while the other — 6,353,766 — hadn't been infringed by BDT.
