Seroquel Plaintiffs Move To Quiz AstraZeneca's Drs.

Law360, New York (January 24, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Plaintiffs in multidistrict litigation over AstraZeneca LP's blockbuster Seroquel have asked a court for permission to depose doctors who conducted clinical trials and wrote papers supporting the controversial anti-psychotic drug.

The plaintiffs, who allege Seroquel causes diabetes and are suing AstraZeneca for liability and negligence, filed a motion Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida seeking leave to question the so-called key opinion leaders.
