Evercore Closes $201M Mexican Private Equity Fund

Law360, New York (June 18, 2013, 12:28 PM EDT) -- The Mexican private equity division of investment banking advisory firm Evercore Partners Inc. has closed its third fund, its largest to date, with more than $200 million in committed capital, Evercore announced Tuesday.

The fund, Evercore Mexico Capital Partners III, closed with $201 million in assets after being oversubscribed. EMCP III will make minority investments in high-growth, privately owned Mexican companies, Evercore said. The fund closed in early June.
