Law360, New York (November 16, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- India’s patent prosecutors are becoming increasingly sophisticated, heightening the threat to U.S. law firms that are faced with an increasing number of clients eager to outsource their patent work.

“Everybody considers Indian patent prosecution to be a nuisance right now and wants it to stop. But as quality increases that will become harder,” said Scott Harris, Senior Principal in patent prosecution at Fish and Richardson PC in San Diego, California.
