Morgan Stanley Avoids Block Of Going Private Deal, For Now

Law360, New York (June 21, 2013, 2:35 PM EDT) -- A Utah state judge refused Wednesday to grant a preliminarily block that would prevent the private equity arm of Morgan Stanley from taking a Chinese milk product company private over the objections of a class of shareholders, according to Morgan Stanley's attorneys.

Judge Andrew H. Stone refused to grant the shareholders' motion for a preliminary injunction during a hearing in Salt Lake City, according to a docket entry.
