5th Circ. Remands Total, Statoil Royalty Contract Row

Law360, New York (June 21, 2013, 2:01 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit on Thursday stuck to its decision remanding a contract dispute launched by Total SA and Statoil ASA against Kerr-McGee Oil & Gas Corp. and others over $3.5 million in overriding royalty interests in an offshore oil block, saying the contracts were ambiguous.
