Fed. Circ. Resurrects Patent On Online Ad Viewing Method

Law360, New York (June 21, 2013, 4:51 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday revived Ultramercial Inc.'s patent on method of viewing ads in order to access online content, reversing a finding that it claimed only the abstract idea of advertising as the court continues to grapple with how to evaluate software patents.
