Obama Taps Ex-KPMG Director For DOD Inspector General

Law360, New York (June 24, 2013, 5:01 PM EDT) -- President Barack Obama on Friday nominated Jon T. Rymer, a former KPMG LLP director who served as the inspector general for two federal agencies, to be the next inspector general for the Department of Defense.

Rymer will bring both military and investigative experience to the job, according to the White House as Rymer is currently serving as the inspector general for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, a position he has held since 2006, and previously served as the interim inspector general of the Securities and Exchange Commission...
