HoneyBaked Ham Settles EEOC Sex Bias Suit

Law360, New York (June 25, 2013, 1:33 PM ET) -- A Colorado federal judge on Monday approved a $370,000 agreement between The Original HoneyBaked Ham Co. of Georgia Inc. and the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission, settling a suit the EEOC filed on behalf of female employees who had allegedly been sexually harassed by a superior or had been penalized for reporting harassment they witnessed.

The settlement amount, approved by Chief U.S. District Judge Marcia S. Krieger, represented back pay and compensatory damages for the 21 alleged victims that will be divided among the class members...
