K Road Cancels 663-MW Solar Project In Calif.

Law360, Washington (June 25, 2013, 3:29 PM EDT) -- K Road Power Holdings LLC has nixed its plans to develop a 663-megawatt solar project in Southern California and withdrew its application for California Energy Commission approval Thursday, citing changed market conditions.

In a brief letter to the state energy commission, K Road surrendered its license for the Calico project and said it saw no purpose in paying compliance fees for the next fiscal year.
