FDA Approves Marketing For 2 New Lorillard Cigarettes

Law360, Chicago (June 25, 2013, 3:35 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has authorized Lorillard Tobacco Co. to market two new cigarette products through the agency's "substantial equivalence" process, the first such decision since a 2009 statute gave the FDA the authority to regulate tobacco items, the FDA said Tuesday.
