Facebook, Apple, Others Face EU Complaints Over NSA Spying

Law360, New York (June 26, 2013, 8:20 PM EDT) -- An Austrian student group on Wednesday lodged complaints accusing Facebook Inc., Apple Inc. and other major technology companies of violating European Union privacy laws by voluntarily participating in the National Security Agency's recently leaked Internet surveillance program.
