Plaintiffs Push For Trial Date In AWP Lawsuit

Law360, New York (January 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The consumer class representatives in the multidistrict litigation over average wholesale drug prices have asked the district court overseeing the case to set a trial date, fighting off motions for delay by defendants AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.

In a motion filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, replying to AstraZeneca and BMS’s oppositions filed earlier this month,the plaintiffs said the case should be tried as soon as possible.
