More Recusals Demanded Over Massey Photos

Law360, New York (January 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- As accusations of judicial impropriety fly, Wheeling-Pittsburgh Corp. is seeking the disqualification of two West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals justices in connection with Massey Energy Co.'s appeal of a $250 million verdict for failing to deliver significant quantities of coal.

Wheeling-Pitt is purportedly readying to ask state Supreme Court Justice Brent Benjamin and Chief Justice Eliot Maynard to recuse themselves from the case, less than a week after photos surfaced of Massey's CEO and the chief justice vacationing together.
