DLA Piper Lures Energy Pro From Day Pitney

Law360, New York (July 2, 2013, 5:36 PM EDT) -- DLA Piper has added to its energy regulation expertise, hiring a former Federal Energy Regulatory Commission legal adviser as a partner, the firm announced Thursday.

Michael Hornstein has a long history of working with energy-related issues, having begun his career at FERC, where he provided legal counsel to two chairmen. Hornstein, who most recently worked with Day Pitney LLP, credited DLA Piper’s large scope with his decision to join the firm’s Washington, D.C., office.
