House Panel Adds Wage Floor To Visa Expansion Bill

Law360, New York (June 27, 2013, 7:32 PM ET) -- The House Judiciary Committee on Thursday agreed to amend a proposed skilled workers visa expansion bill to add a wage floor for certain foreign workers eligible under the program, while committee Democrats blasted the larger bill for cutting a diversity program and a heavily backlogged sibling visa program.
