Broadcom Wants Justices To Enforce Contract's Forum Choice

Law360, Dallas (July 1, 2013, 4:10 PM EDT) -- Broadcom Corp. recently asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a Federal Circuit decision that refused to enforce a forum-selection clause in a Texas patent infringement suit, saying the precedent gives too much power to plaintiffs in federal cases to avoid a contracted-for choice of venue.
