NYU Dorm Landlord Can't Seek $1.5M, Appeals Court Says

Law360, New York (June 27, 2013, 6:50 PM EDT) -- A landlord can't seek $1.5 million in lost rent from New York University after its students allegedly trashed a dorm, a state appeals court ruled Thursday, partly reversing a lower court's ruling and finding the lease didn't allow the landlord to go after that money.
