Weil Keeps Adobe On Pace With $600M Marketing Buy

Law360, New York (June 28, 2013, 2:55 PM EDT) -- Adobe Systems Inc. on Thursday struck a $600 million deal for Neolane, a French marketing analytics firm, adding to its suite of creative business software and keeping pace with rivals like Salesforce.com Inc. and Oracle Corp. in race for online advertising chops. 

The deal builds up what Adobe calls its Marketing Cloud, a suite of software to help marketers manage their digital advertising. Twelve-year-old Neolane links analytics for campaigns across the Web, email and social media with more traditional direct mail, calling and in-store marketing efforts....
