Sanction Policy Unfair In ACA Tax-Exempt Rule, AHA Says

Law360, New York (June 28, 2013, 5:01 PM ET) -- A recently proposed federal rule spurred by Affordable Care Act requirements for charitable hospitals that wish to maintain tax-exempt status must be changed, the American Hospital Association said Thursday, expressing concern that hospitals may be unfairly penalized under the rule.
