11th Circ. Remands $10M Orders Over Medicare Scheme

Law360, New York (June 28, 2013, 9:54 PM EDT) -- The Eleventh Circuit on Friday vacated a $7 million restitution order and a $3 million fine against a Florida man convicted over a scheme to file fraudulent Medicare claims through his medical equipment firm, finding he should not have to repay victims of his scheme who received equipment that they medically needed.
