Ex-KPMG Partner Pleads Guilty To Insider Trading

Law360, Los Angeles (July 1, 2013, 2:40 PM EDT) -- A former partner in accounting giant KPMG LLP’s Los Angeles office pled guilty Monday to a single securities fraud count over his role in an insider trading scheme in which he leaked confidential information to a friend in exchange for money and luxury goods.

Scott London, 50, entered his plea before U.S. District Judge George H. Wu, who scheduled a sentencing hearing date of Oct. 21.
