Apple Offices Raided By French Antitrust Agency

Law360, San Francisco (July 1, 2013, 3:32 PM EDT) -- The French competition authority Autorite de la Concurrence conducted a 24-hour raid at the French offices of Apple Inc. as well as its wholesalers and distributors last week, seizing documents describing the tech giant's relationships with its distributors, it was reported Friday.

Although it's unclear what prompted the Autorite's investigation, it might be linked to a lawsuit filed by computer retailer eBizcuss, which sued Apple in late 2011 for allegedly withholding its most popular products from other resellers after it began opening stores in France, according...
