FilmOn Asks 9th Circ. To Lift Ban On Network TV Streaming

Law360, Los Angeles (August 27, 2013, 5:41 PM ET) -- Billionaire Alki David urged the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday to lift an injunction on his FilmOn X LLC's television streaming service, saying it provides “discrete, unique” transmissions of programming to private individuals that don't infringe on the exclusive broadcasting rights of Fox, NBC and other networks.
