ITC To Review Infringement Ruling Against Nanya

Law360, New York (July 3, 2013, 5:06 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has said the full commission will review a ruling from one of its judges that found Nanya Technology Corp. imported semiconductors that infringed several patents for dynamic random access memory patents held by Elpida Memory Inc.

The commission's review was requested in April by Nanya, which said at the time that Administrative Law Judge E. James Gildea's March ruling was tainted because he considered arguments that Elpida raised only raised in late-stage briefs — so late in the proceedings that Nanya...
