Pa. Lottery Privatization Deal Gets Deadline Extension

Law360, Philadelphia (July 8, 2013, 2:34 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett continues to work to save a proposed vendor contract with British firm Camelot Global Services PA LLC to privatize the $3.5 billion state lottery, as the state extended the deadline on the bid proposal with Camelot on Friday.

The extension keeps the proposed deal alive until July 31, while the state's Department of Revenue tinkers with the contract, which was rejected by Attorney General Kathleen Kane in February.
