Eolas Asks Fed. Circ. To Revive Browser IP In Google Row

Law360, Washington (July 8, 2013, 5:25 PM EDT) -- Eolas Technologies Inc. urged a Federal Circuit panel Monday to revive two Web browser patents that were invalidated in its battle with Google Inc., Amazon.com Inc. and others, claiming the Internet giants failed to prove the patents were anticipated and obvious.

According to Eolas, a Texas federal jury didn't have enough evidence to justify their invalidation of the two interactive Web browser patents-in-suit, and the patents should be revived because the defendants couldn't carry their burden of proof.
