Law360, New York (July 9, 2013, 7:05 PM EDT) -- The Bank of New York Mellon Corp. was never Bank of America Corp.'s lapdog during the negotiation of an $8.5 billion Bank of America mortgage-backed securities settlement, the founder of Mayer Brown LLP's securitization practice testified Tuesday during a New York trial over the deal.
