DuPont Superfund Suit Revived By High Court Orders

Law360, New York (January 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- On the order of the U.S. Supreme Court, a federal judge has reopened a decade-old lawsuit brought by DuPont against the government for recovery of environmental cleanup costs.

On Monday, Judge William Martini of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey reversed an earlier ruling that dismissed the company's case and remanded the suit for a second hearing. The case was first filed with the court more than 10 years ago.
