Sidley Lures EPA Pesticide Official For DC Office

Law360, Chicago (July 10, 2013, 4:49 PM EDT) -- Sidley Austin LLP has snapped up a former director of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's biopesticides and pollution prevention division for its Washington, D.C. office, boosting the firm's expertise in chemicals regulation and the Endangered Species Act, the firm said Wednesday.

Keith A. Matthews is jumping to Sidley as a counsel after spending more than 16 years at the EPA, where he worked on regulatory matters involving genetically modified organisms as well as chemicals, pesticides and biopesticides, his new firm said.
