US, China Agree On Broad Greenhouse Gas Push

Law360, New York (July 10, 2013, 6:04 PM ET) -- U.S. and Chinese officials on Wednesday released a series of joint initiatives to confront greenhouse gas emissions in each country and promised to deliver implementation plans by October.

At the fifth meeting of the U.S.-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue, the U.S. and China were presented with five broad proposals in a report prepared by a joint working group established during Secretary of State John Kerry’s April jaunt to China and intended to spur large-scale cooperative efforts to address climate change.
