RJ Machine Sues Pipe Rival Over Expired-Patent Monopoly

Law360, Los Angeles (July 11, 2013, 10:04 PM ET) -- Oil pipeline parts maker RJ Machine Co. hit rival Canada Pipeline Accessories Inc. with an antitrust suit in Texas federal Court on Thursday, saying CPA illegally monopolized the market for a particular pipeline component by threatening to sue over a patent that expired two years ago.
