Venable Adds Former GOP Senate Banking Counsel In DC

Law360, New York (July 11, 2013, 6:30 PM EDT) -- Venable LLP has added a former U.S. Senate Banking Committee attorney with extensive financial regulatory experience, including a significant role in helping to shape the Dodd-Frank Act, as a partner in its Washington, D.C., office, it announced Thursday.

Andrew Olmem joins the firm in both its financial services and legislative and government affairs practices, having served at the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee since 2005, most recently as Republican deputy staff director and chief counsel.
