Law360, New York (July 11, 2013, 4:54 PM EDT) -- A Mayer Brown LLP securitization partner testified during a trial Thursday in New York that his client, the Bank of New York Mellon Corp., never tried to keep some investors, whom he'd allegedly branded "wild men," out of negotiations that led to an $8.5 billion Bank of America Corp. mortgage-backed securities settlement.
