Penn National Pitches $200M Slots Parlor In Mass.

Law360, New York (July 12, 2013, 3:17 PM EDT) -- Down but not out after losing a Massachusetts gaming license bid earlier this year, Penn National Gaming Inc. is now in negotiations with local officials on a $200 million slots parlor project proposed for the northern part of the state, according to a Thursday statement.

Penn National is talking to the town of Tewksbury, which is near the state's border with New Hampshire, on bringing a Hollywood-style casino, dining and more to a 30-acre spot of land, the company said.
