FDA Warns Against Delaying Inspectors, Details Drug Seizures

Law360, New York (July 12, 2013, 4:08 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Friday outlined an array of inspection-delay tactics that could result in pharmaceuticals being deemed unfit for sale, and then explained how it would go about seizing such products.

Of two new documents issued Friday, one was draft guidance that delved into the "circumstances that constitute delaying, denying, limiting or refusing a drug inspection" and provided numerous examples of behavior that won't be tolerated.
