Mayer Brown Atty Says BNY Mellon Fought For $8B BofA Deal

Law360, New York (July 12, 2013, 7:52 PM EDT) -- The Bank of New York Mellon Corp. didn't slack off as the trustee of Bank of America Corp. mortgage-backed securities by not attending a meeting where a final $8.5 billion settlement amount was reached, its Mayer Brown LLP attorney said during his fourth day of testimony Friday.
