AmEx, GE, Citibank Force Debt Collection Suit Into Arbitration

Law360, New York (July 15, 2013, 6:54 PM ET) -- American Express Co., GE Capital and Citibank on Friday won a bid to arbitrate putative class action claims alleging illegal debt collection practices when a New York federal judge ruled the class action waivers in their contracts with credit card customers were enforceable.
