ISDA Rules On Credit Default Swaps To Take Effect In 2014

Law360, New York (July 15, 2013, 7:34 PM EDT) -- International Swaps and Derivatives Association Inc. will not implement its new rules on credit-default swaps until March 2014, the industry trade group said Monday.

The amendments to the 2003 ISDA Credit Derivatives definitions will kick in next year, and the new definitions will apply to contracts trading from March 20, 2014, onward, according to a statement Monday by the trade group.
