7 Arrested Over Mental Health Facility's $63M Medicare Fraud

Law360, Los Angeles (July 16, 2013, 10:15 PM ET) -- Federal investigators in Miami arrested a former medical director and six therapists Tuesday, alleging they used their positions in a mental health care facility to scam Medicare and Medicaid out of $63 million.

Roger Rousseau, 71, of Miami, was the medical director of Health Care Solutions Network Inc., a company with operations in Miami and Hendersonville, N.C., who was indicted July 11 and charged with conspiracy to commit health care fraud and two counts of health care fraud, according to a statement from the U.S. Department...
