Ch. 11 Buyer Targets Debtor's Insurers For Cleanup Costs

Law360, New York (July 22, 2013, 8:33 PM ET) -- Haskell Properties LLC has revived claims against insurers including Hartford Accident and Indemnity Co. for the cost of cleaning up a contaminated site in New Jersey, arguing that the carriers are liable based on policies covering the bankrupt company from which Haskell acquired the parcel.
