Ex-Shearman & Sterling Tech Worker Sues For Age Bias

Law360, New York (July 24, 2013, 3:19 PM ET) -- A former IT employee of Shearman & Sterling LLP told a New York judge on Tuesday that the international law firm fired him because he was 60 years old.

Edward Beauchamp worked in the law firm’s information technology department for 16 years, during which time he received two promotions and ultimately was put in charge of a team of 13 other technicians.
