Sears Can't Arbitrate Credit Card Action, Ill. Court Says

Law360, Chicago (July 24, 2013, 6:20 PM EDT) -- An Illinois appeals court on Friday refused Sears Roebuck & Co.'s challenge to a ruling that said the company waived its right to arbitrate claims in a consolidated class action alleging it unlawfully disclosed confidential data, such as credit card numbers and account balances, to third parties.
