EU Closes Book On Penguin Price-Fixing Probe

Law360, New York (July 25, 2013, 11:55 AM EDT) -- The European Commission on Thursday accepted proposals by Pearson PLC's Penguin to resolve allegations that the publisher conspired to fix prices of electronic books, putting to rest the last of investigations surrounding an alleged scheme that also involved four major publishing houses and Apple Inc.
