Spain Raids More Fuel Cos. In Price-Fixing Probe

Law360, New York (July 25, 2013, 2:33 PM EDT) -- Spanish antitrust officials have raided several oil product companies based on suspicion that the companies were coordinating prices for auto fuel distribution, the country's competition authority said Wednesday.

Inspectors from the National Competition Commission, known as the CNC, visited the offices of oil product operators on Monday and Tuesday as the agency continues to investigate the possibility that the companies have been fixing prices and other commercial terms for gas distributed at service stations, the watchdog said.
