Merck Attacks Watson, Actavis Over Birth Control Patent

Law360, Los Angeles (July 25, 2013, 10:15 PM ET) -- Merck & Cie and a licensee accused Watson Laboratories Inc. and Actavis Inc. of infringing Merck’s patent for birth control pill Beyaz when they applied for federal approval to manufacture a generic, according to nearly identical suits filed this week in Delaware and Nevada federal courts.
