GOP Rep. Wants ACA Care Improvement Clause Nixed

Phil Gingrey, R-Ga., on Thursday introduced legislation to repeal an Affordable Care Act provision tying doctors’ eligibility for provider contracts with certain health insurers to improvements in care, saying the measure would unfairly block legitimate care decisions and interfere with the doctor-patient relationship.
